The Hog wants to thank all of the Ohio State and northeast Ohio football fans who visited the web site this past fall and winter. The Hog hopes that he provided some interesting and entertaining commentary. 

Just like the game of football has evolved from the use of the single-wing offense, to the full-house backfield, to split backs, to the wishbone and shotgun (Ssssh, don’t tell Michigan coach Lloyd Carr. He has yet to discover the use of the shotgun.) and spread offenses, The Hog also is evolving. 

The Hog has created a new web site hogonsports.com (best viewed 1024x768) where he will cover the world of athletics – from football to boxing, from ultimate fighting to basketball, from baseball to tennis and from track and field to beer pong. OK, the last part about beer pong was made up, but you get the drift. The Hog even will cover entertainment, food and politics from time to time. And The Hog will do all of it with the same irreverence and humor as he has in the past.
